Gary Lotano
Revitalization and development of commercial and residential properties is the cornerstone of Gary Lotano’s business. He has been a builder/developer for over forty years and has actively participated in a variety of community organizations that have enhanced the Township of Toms River as well as Ocean County. Gary has developed and built numerous residential and commercial buildings in Ocean and Monmouth Counties that have improved these areas immensely.
Gary has actively served the community in a variety of leadership positions. He has served as the chairman of The Toms River-Ocean County Chamber of Commerce. Since 1991 he has been instrumental in the revitalization of Downtown Toms River and has served on the Downtown Revitalization Committee as well as the Business Improvement District since that time. His commitment to the continued growth and development of business in the downtown area is unwavering. Along with his work with the Toms River-Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, Gary serves as a Board Member of the Barnabas Health Care System, which is New Jersey’s largest health care provider. He served as Chairman of the Board of Community Medical Center in Toms River from 2007-2011 and currently chairs the Strategic Planning Committee for the hospital . Gary also serves as a director for Shore Community Bank in Toms River and is currently a Trustee of the Toms River Police Foundation.
Among special recognitions, organizations that have honored Gary for his foresight and hard work include the Silver Gull Award for the Monmouth/Ocean Development Council, the Outstanding Developer Award from Toms River/Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, the Historic Preservation Award from the Dover Township Historic Preservation Commission, the Man of the Year from the Italian-American Cultural Society, the Beautification Award for Downtown Toms River, the Sam Walton Business Leader Award, the Distinguished Citizen of the Year Award form the Toms River/Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, and the Pinnacle Philanthropic Leadership Award. In 2012 Gary and his wife Amy were awarded Ocean County College’s Humanitarian of The Year Award.
Mathew Lotano
Matthew Lotano is a second generation builder that spent his childhood on job sites learning construction, development, and real estate. After graduating from Wagner College with a degree in business, it was a natural evolution to start his own construction company. In the past nine years his projects have ranged from renovations, new construction,historical remodels and restoration to million dollar medical complexes. Each project has brought a new level of expertise to his already accomplished skill set. His goal has always been providing the highest quality work while staying on budget and meeting his clients’ needs. Matthew believes that there is no greater satisfaction than knowing that the job you have done is exactly what the client envisioned.
